If there is one thing I may love more than handbags its shoes especially boots. Over the years I have created a carefully curated boot collection. I do not have a “one size fits all” booties. Instead, I have a couple different boots and booties based on functionality and the look I am trying to achieve. Below are my top favorites!
1. Rain/Winter Bootie
I need a good bootie that can handle the Chicago rain and snow. These hunter boots do the trick. They are easy to slip on and off when I am taking King for his walks. Plus, they are classic and cute!

2. White Bootie
I recommend getting a white bootie when you want to switch it up from basic black or brown. I love these ones from Vince Camuto as its a nice creamy white versus a striking white.

3. Neutral Bootie
I purchased this bootie during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale. It wasn’t until I started using them did I become obsessed with wearing them all the time. They are the perfect neutral color to go with everything. Best of all, they are comfy with the chunky heel and sock like material.

4. Over the Knee Boots

Black over the knee boots are a must in any boot lover’s collection. My favorite way to style them is with a dress. I find the Stuart Weitzman version is best in terms of staying up on your leg and leather quality.
5. Black Bootie
This is my number 1 bootie pick for anyone starting their boot collection. I like to go with a simple design so it can go for a variety of looks.

The Chloe Susanna Boots are a big splurge for a western bootie. However, there are some great affordable options with plenty of style.
